Windsor Locks Jukido, founded in the early 2000s, is dedicated to providing exceptional Jujitsu classes for individuals aged 6 and above. Our focus is on developing self-defense skills in a safe and supportive environment. We stand out from 'big money' systems by prioritizing hard work, attendance and offering engaging workshops to educate students who are passionate about self-defense and martial arts training.

Kokondo Association
Our Dojo, and our instructors are all certified and trained through the IKA.
Established in 1959 by Shihan Paul Arel, our system's history is intertwined in Connecticut and the U.S. Marine Corps.
Within the IKA are the two sister arts, Jukido Jujitsu and Kokondo Karate. Both developed by Shihan, the two self sustaining systems have the same principles of Kuzushi, Shorinji, and Jushin. While separately, Karate has a larger focus on blocks and strikes, and Jukido on throws, and containments.
