Although we are a member of the IKA, (International Kokondo Association) the dojos in the towns of Windsor Locks and Granby are very tightly integrated. This keeps students involved with each other, as well as simplification of instruction.

Rank Advancement

As a dojo of the IKA, we are an Authentic Japanese Jujitsu system.

This means that earning ranks is not based on how much you pay. Instead, your Hard Work, Skill, and Determination EARN you the rank. All we do is recognize it.

Students

We have students of various ages and abilities. Whether you're an adult participant, or the parent finding an activity for your child, all students are welcome and encouraged to come and try a Free Class!

Higher belts

Starting Apr 7th, Windsor Locks Jukido will be teaching a higher belt & adult exclusive class. This will take place weekly, on Monday.

(Minimum Yellow belt or 14+)

Benefits

In our class, we focus on teaching students to use their Voice, how to fall, and deal with bullying. Something that our system's teachers unfortunately has been on the receiving end of. (Read more) For adults and children alike, earning confidence and learn physical skills are inevitable.

I would highly recommend this dojo to anyone of any age! Both Mr. B and Mr. Bean are very informative, take their time explaining moves and why they are done that specific way but more importantly make class fun. Both of my sons have a smile on their face the entire class.
